I was impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by Anthony, Joe and their team in completing our floor project. Our floors were very dark with a high gloss finish which showed every speck of dust and dirt and our master bedroom and closet had carpet and something needed to be done! From the initial estimate to the completion of the job, Monroe exceeded my expectations. They also assisted in moving furniture into the garage without incident. I was most impressed by their constant communication with us during the project. The team showed up on time every day or if they were delayed for any reason we got both a call and a text to keep us informed. The floors were sanded down to bare wood, stained with a new lighter color and finished and they installed new hardwood in the master bedroom. While I was completely satisfied, Anthony inspected the job and identified that the finish was not up to his standard. The team returned over the weekend and redid the entire job - re-sanding, re-staining and re-finishing with no extra charge! I would highly recommend Monroe for any of your floor needs!

Anthony and his team refinished my entire home in Pittsford. They did multiple repairs and took out every stain that was in my floor. Anthony made me aware that the new wood would be noticeable as it was so fresh but after having it done, no one would ever notice that it was repaired! I had 3 floors, and 2 staircases and he told me it would take 4 days and he stuck to that timeframe. The quality of the rooms that we had refinished were excellent. It involved sanding and restoring the oak hardwood floors to like new condition. I had quoted four contractors for estimates. The quote I received from Monroe Floor Resurfacing was not only competitive but Anthony Santillo worked with us to complete the refinishing with the least amount of disruption, considering four bedrooms of furniture had to be moved to other rooms during the process. I had several questions about the process and the time it would take to complete the work. Anthony was both professional and responsive to all my questions. The work proceeded as scheduled and he was flexible when we needed to delay one scheduled time for the next week. When I had any question concerning the work Anthony always responded quickly. The oak hardwood floors we had refinished are beautiful. We were fortunate to have the work completed on time and at a very good price.

Just purchased my first home and knew when I walked in that I had to get the floors redone as soon as possible because of the stains and smells due to previous owners animals. Anthony was prompt, courteous and professional. He responded quickly to our questions and concerns. I was impressed with how clean the house was after the project was completed as we had stopped by in the midst of the refinishing. Originally, I did have some concerns as Anthony is quite young, however in the end his skill and professionalism belied his youth. We will consider Anthony for another upcoming project.
Had a living room floor that needed be sanded and finished they did a great job. Some time after they left from doing the final coat my 6 year old decided to walk on it and slipped making marks all over the floor, I called him up no problem he came back over to fix it no charge which he didn't have to do. Would recommend this company to anyone looking to do anything with hardwood floors great work, really good prices and excellent customer service, will definitely call him in the future when when needed.
Monroe Floor Resurfacing did an outstanding job on my 60 year old red oak floors. They look brand new with no traces of the water damage they had sustained. Anthony blended new boards among the old and refinished them to look uniformly beautiful. In addition, Anthony and his crew were always on time, put in a full day's work, and finished on time. DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! Owner Anthony Santillo looks too young to be so expert but he and his team (all 19 years old) did an expert job refinishing hardwood floors.in both bedrooms. Their equipment minimized dust and made cleanup far easier than the crew I used last time. For a very modest fee they even moved all the furniture and put it all back in place. I even tipped each of his workers an extra $50 each to encourage they continue with their high standards and work ethics: polite, on time, no cell phone interruptions, and no F-bombs! I highly recommend them and if I had more floors I would hire them again! They were far better than the competition who did my living room floor a couple years ago. They look too young to be so good, but they beat the competition by far. My hat is off to EACH of them! Thank you.
